Chief Executive Officer

Roydon Michael has over 20 years' telematics experience. He’s known for cutting through the noise to pinpoint the core problem and for caring deeply about getting the right outcome for partners and team members alike.

A long-time member of a network of business founders, Roydon believes in constant learning and practical problem-solving.

When he’s not working, you’ll find him trail running, at his kids’ sports games, or on the couch with his family, their dog, and a big bowl of popcorn.

Daryl Schonborn

Chief Technology Officer

Daryl began his 3Dtracking journey as a Technical Architect before stepping into leadership roles that shifted his focus from solving complex system challenges himself to building scalable technology and strong global teams.

Daryl's leadership centers on long-term thinking and structured decision-making. Today, he’s focused on strengthening the platform’s stability, security, and scalability as 3Dtracking continues to grow globally.

Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, exploring new cultures, and finding great spicy vegan food.

Merick Singh

Head of Customer Success

Merick Singh is a telematics veteran with experience across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. He combines decades of operational, process, and implementation expertise with relationship-building skills that set him apart in the industry.

Outside of work, you’ll find Merick playing with his dogs or spending time with his kids.

Rudi Grobbelaar

Head of Product

Rudi Grobbelaar is known for his calm approach, warm energy, and his ability to address complex problems without ever forcing a single path forward.

He’s also a licensed pilot, a quick study in languages, and someone who believes in the idea of home - the people, the sights, and the feeling you can’t replicate anywhere else.

Outside of work, Rudi is either on the golf course or off on a spontaneous road trip.

Tolis Welch is the kind of person who can fix almost anything. A hands-on problem-solver with a knack for figuring out how things work and how to make them work better; he’s been our Head of Development for over a decade.

When he’s not working, you’ll usually find him tinkering in the garage or deep in DIY projects.
